Why isn't my Bluetooth scanner working?

If your Bluetooth scanner isn't responding, try these steps:

  1. Make sure that Bluetooth is turned on for your iPad. Bluetooth options are located in the Settings menu.
  2. Make sure that your Bluetooth scanner is paired with your iPad. If not, follow these steps:
    • Put your scanner in discoverable mode.
    • Scan for available Bluetooth devices.
    • Your scanner should come up. Tap to pair with it.
  3. Tap the power button on your scanner twice to reestablish a connection with your iPad. The power button is located directly behind the larger trigger button.
